TORONTO – The Toronto Blue Jays have been dropping games of late because of their inconsistent offence and some spotty pitching.
Blame for their latest setback belongs to some dodgy defence.
The usually sure-handed John McDonald opened the door to a two-run ninth with a wild throw and Juan Pierre beat Marc Rzepczynski to the bag at first after Juan Rivera snared a chopper down the line, allowing the go-head runs to score in a 3-1 Chicago White Sox
