All Blacks coach Graham Henry said they may only take 24 players to South Africa for the test against the Springboks on August 21.
The selectors are able to take up to 26 player to South Africa for the one-off test, but Henry revealed today that there is little benefit in taking the full quota and players would be better served by staying in New Zealand and stay fresh for the World Cup.
