Grange on Senators: Spezza's fight for respect

Everyone knows someone like Jason Spezza.

You work with him, raise someone like him, teach one or coach one.

He's the guy everyone thinks is good, but man, could be just a little bit better; the person for whom the word potential is less a compliment than an ever moving hurdle.

The 28-year-old Ottawa Senators centre is at the peak of a brilliant NHL career; there is no other way to put it.

But in his ninth NHL season he's known as much for what

Blue Jays rally in 9th, win in record 16

CLEVELAND – The Toronto Blue Jays made comeback victories a regular occurrence last year, but none of those wins had anything on their 2012 curtain-raiser Thursday afternoon.

The crescendo of optimism built during their torrid spring training was nearly halted after one rough inning for ace Ricky Romero. But their ninth-inning rally off Cleveland Indians closer Chris Perez picked things right back up before J.P. Arencibia delivered a three-run shot in the 16th inning of a 7-4 win.

Davidi on Blue Jays: Cecil concerns grow

LAKELAND, Fla. - The Toronto Blue Jays have plenty to deliberate over ahead of their spring finale Tuesday, with the fate of Brett Cecil now a prime focus in discussions about their rotation.

The left-hander may very well have pitched himself out of a job during Monday afternoon's 11-8 loss to the Detroit Tigers, perhaps sealing Kyle Drabek's return to the starting staff and throwing the likes of Joel Carreno and Chad Jenkins into the mix with Aaron Laffey and Cecil for the final

How does one wear a pocket square exactly?

The question
I just inherited a bunch of lovely pocket squares. Is there anything I should know in terms of pairing them with my shirts, ties or blazers?
The answer
What a beautiful idea: pocket squares blooming in bunches. Sadly, we can only wear one at a time.
Here are some things to know: Don’t match the pocket square, either in colour or pattern, to the tie exactly – the square should contrast with the tie. So if your tie is striped, the square could be paisley or dotted; if the tie

U.S. consumers boosted their spending in February by the most in seven months. But Americans’ income barely grew, and the saving rate fell to its lowest point in more than two years.
The Commerce Department said Friday that consumer spending rose 0.8 percent last month. However, income grew only 0.2 percent, matching January’s weak increase. And when taking inflation into account, income after taxes fell for a second straight month.
Consumers are spending more after the best three-month
