B.C. Lions still have much more work to do

One by one the B.C. Lions hobbled off the field and one by one the storylines dissipated: Arland Bruce III’s return to Hamilton? Meh. An eight-game Lions winning streak? Whatever.
And it was head coach Wally Buono himself who afterward mentioned the approximate value of regular-season winning streaks by referring to 2005: an 11-0 start, followed by losses in seven of the next eight games en route to a defeat by the Edmonton Eskimos in the West Conference final.
