Leafs' Reimer practises with team
Toronto Maple Leafs first-string goaltender James Reimer returned to practice in full gear on Friday morning, flipped a puck in the net and celebrated. He was back on the ice.
It was the first time the 23-year-old goalie had been on skates in a while, and even though he was only one of five players dressed for the optional practice, Leafs Nation will take his appearance as a positive sign. Especially on the heels of another loss Thursday night, 4-1 to the Nashville Predators.
