LOS ANGEGLES, Calif. -- Jeff Carter is on his way to Los Angeles.
The L.A. Kings acquired the centre from the Columbus Blue Jackets for defenceman Jack Johnson and a first round pick Thursday night.
Carter, 27, has had a disappointing and injury-plagued season with Columbus, registering 15 goals and 10 assists in 39 games.
