Auckland left-armer Michael Bates will finally make his one-day international debut in a spin-heavy bowling attack as New Zealand chase a cricket series clean sweep against Zimbabwe in Napier.
Captain Brendon McCullum confirmed Bates will play in tomorrow's third and final ODI at McLean Park after sitting out the first two matches, which New Zealand won by 90 runs in Dunedin and 141 runs in Whangarei.
