Charl Schwartzel of South Africa overcame a four-shot deficit in the final round to win golf’s Masters Tournament by two strokes. He shot a 6-under-par 66 at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, to finish 14 under at the season’s first major championship.
Meanwhile, Jason Day and Adam Scott, who were vying to become the first Australian winner of the tournament, were two shots back. Tiger Woods mounted a final- round charge and tied for fourth place at 10-under.
