Marine from Mississippi killed in Afghanistan
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Department of Defense is reporting that a Marine from Mississippi has died in combat operations in Afghanistan.
The department said in a news release Friday that Staff Sgt. Jason A. Rogers of Brandon, Miss. died Thursday while taking part in combat operations in the Helmand province.
