Storms cause havoc in Franklinton

ST. TAMMANY, La. -- As of 3:15 p.m Tuesday, the Washington / St. Tammany Electric Coop said less than 300 homes remain without power.
That's down from more than 7,000 homes Monday night.
Storms hit Washington Parish hard. Darryl Corkern's home just off Highway 25 in Franklinton was the epicenter for what many are calling a tornado.
Winds ripped the roof off Corkern's home at about 7 p.m.
